Scottish Family Law Allows Non-Married "Divorce"

You know the old saying "Only in America"? Well, here's an interesting story that comes not from here in the states, but from Scotland. Apparently, Scottish lawmakers have passed a new family law which enables unmarried couples to sue each other if the realtionship goes south.

Will Hanlon was born in Tampa, Florida, January 12, 1965. He is a member of the Family Law section of the Hillsborough County Bar, and the Family Law section of the Florida Bar.

He received his bachelor of science from the University of Florida in 1988, and his juris doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1993. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1994.
